MINERA TRES VALLES SIGNS COLLABORATIVE WORK AGREEMENT WITH
PABLO RODRÍGUEZ CAVIEDES POLYTECHNIC HIGH SCHOOL

The ceremony held on Tuesday, December 27, at the administrative offices of Tres Valles, was attended by authorities of the educational unit, alumni and managers of the mining company.

The collaborative work agreement, whose objective is to strengthen the mid-level professional technical education in the province of Choapa, promotes the development of an important community relationship that allows the mining company to seek out potential from the same territory in which it is located.

The work plan of this agreement will be executed through three basic activities, training talks given by mining project professionals, guided visits for teachers and students, and professional internships for graduates of mining-related careers.

Through the implementation of this collaborative work agreement, teachers and students will be able to develop the knowledge delivered inside the classroom in a practical way, enhancing the training of future professional technicians.

For Daniel Fredes, the Principal of Pablo Rodríguez Caviedes Polytechnic High School, the signing of this agreement will bring numerous benefits to professors and students because it will allow them to “get an updated view of mining processes, as well as internships that will provide young people from the province with a locally contextualized curriculum”.
